Default Stage 1

Hi,

I have recently put a scoobysport back box, mid section, and k and n air filter on my 00 impreza.
I would like to get it remapped but dont know where to take it, i live in the east of england, and how much can i expect to pay.
Is this all i need to do to, or are there any other advisable mods to do before getting it remapped. I was thinking maybe decat downpipe and changing the up pipe to get maximum air flow. Can this be done after a remap or will i get the best out of my remap if i do it first.
What sort of power gains can i expect to see after remap. It is an english turbo 2000 impreza.

Thoughts from experience scooby modifiers would be appreciated.
Thanx
Dan

Bob Rawle from BR Developements is the best guy to see for a remap. Should think it would cost you approx £600.

or contact AndyF. He will travel to you if there are enough people/funds to pay for the day.

Sorry another quick question.
Whats the difference between an ecuteck 2 remap and an ecutek 3 remap?
If i want to see my car hit 280-300 bhp, what else is needed to be done, i have read that the standard turbo, fuel pump e.t.c will be good for 290-300bhp. Will this run reliable and this sort of power or will i forever be getting it fixked???

About the 2 and 3 remaps speak to Andy or Bob.

The turbo, if its a TD04, will be on its limit. You would be better of fitting a TD05 which is good for 350hp with supporting mods. Your injectors should be 380cc and should be ok, but 440cc would be better. I would fit a walbro 255lt pump just to be sure that fuel pressure is maintained.

Consider having you headers ported and wrapped, see Harvey for this. This should aid spool up and overall performance if done correctly, ie by Harvey.

A new age top mount IC would be a good upgrade too.

Both the guys above would be able to confirm/deny the above.

my MY 98 WRX was mapped by Andy with good results.

I'm assuming you have a decat exhaust? either 2.5" or 3" system?
