Default Worth having my O.E. header & up-pipe wrapped?

For whatever reason the heat shields have been previously removed and not put back on the headers and up-pipe, whilst there off at the garage due to engine rebuild is it worth getting the garage to wrap the headers and up-pipe? Will i notice any sort of difference by doing so and how much is it likely to cost?

Im sure the headers are stock but do standard up-pipes on a STi 5 have a flexi joint in them, or is it a solid pipe?

Ive also got a de-cat downpipe going on, worth wrapping that aswell???

...having just had a search a few people say not to wrap the O.E. cast headers as they may crack, would it just be better to find some heatshields and have them put on instead?

It is a good idea as;
1. It will help reduce engine bay temperatures.
2. Doing the downpipe aswell will help the cat to get to work quicker (if you got one).
3. Helps the speed of the gases through the system so boost should come on a bit quicker.

Hope this answers your questions
