Sqeeky air con or alternator puley
Started my car up the other day and there was a sqeek coming from the front end not fan belt as i expected as it had stood for a few weeks and battery was low but it was definatly not fan belt.
was much too high pitched more like metal on metal and when i listened around it sounded as if it was coming from either the alternator or air con pulleys, after a drive it was still making the same noise so its not as if it needed to warm up or settle down.
any ideas on how to stop it? its really annoying!
