Default Oil overfill problems??

I have a UK MY99 turbo 2000 and was having a nightmare yesterday topping up my oil but got it done after a while and was happy. I then went off to santa pod for the afternoon and had myself a couple of runs and then went home and was well happy and the car was running perfictly. Left it overnight and then thought I would check levels again today when it was cold from over night only to find I have overfilled it to the tune of about 5-6mm above the max when hot mark...
I have the car booked in to Zen performance on friday for a oil change but im now really worried incase I have done any damage. The car is not going to move now untill friday morning when I take it the 10 miles to the garage but I would just like to know if it would be a good idea to drain a bit out 1st.
Any help would be very helpfull.
Thanks Dave
