can u buy a tool to crimp the end of cut fuel pipes?

Default can u buy a tool to crimp the end of cut fuel pipes?

i could do with crimping the end of my fuel pipes after cutting them back to fit rubber pipes,does anyone know what tool is used for this?

by crimping do mean FLARING a " ****" on the end of the pipe to help keep the hose on ??

If so you need a funnily enough Flaring tool, try the Sykes Pickevant website

yeah thats the word i meant 'flaring' lol. what type of place would use this tool for 8mm pipe do you think? im thinking i could take the fuel rails in somewhere rather than buying the tool as id prob never use it again. thanks

Sorry to hi-jack, but what did you use to cut the fuel pipe? Hacksaw? Would this leave swarf in the pipe?

yeah i used a hacksaw but cut it upside down so the swarf dropped downwards.and i just flushed the pipes out with petrol
