my 93 wrx...... can any one plz help and tell me if this is goin to be the maf sensor or anyone got any ideas? the cars bin running porly for a few weeks now, when you put the power down it hessertates and you can feel the power comin and goin also the last few days,when engine is cold its bin stalling when you come down the revs to tickover.... also havin to rev it to keep it running (sounds like its missing) already changed the plugs used ngkpfr7b's..... bin reading a thread on here that says you can use a nissan 300zx maf is this rite and can you just put it on or do you need a remap to make it run rite

 

Could be the MAF sensor, or maybe the coil packs

Did it used to run ok and if so for how long?
How long has it been running rough for?
What fuel do you use 95 or higher ron?
Is is mapped to run on 95 ron (std) uk fuel?
Do you use an octane booster?

hi there mate ive had the car now just over a year now but it had a front end knock and has only bin on the road a few weeks, dont no how it ran when i got it no rad etc, i always use otimax when i can with no booster. the car has a blitz filter, full 3" stainles zorst with no cats, avc-r (std boost) dump valve and ive just changed to ngk pfr7b's, and no as yet its not had a remap, what do you think??????
