Question Code 32 help + hesitancy + boost spiking...

Hi All

My '97 Sti Wagon has been throwing a code 32 very intermittently for a while. When the CEL comes on, the car appears to be driving fine.

I've had a search through scoobynet, but not found anything conclusive as to where to look, although it seems to point at the O2 sensor. Does the code reflect a stuffed O2 sensor ie. go and buy a new one, or are there other things I can look for, or ways to check the sensor?

The car's has also just started missing a little, seems worse at low rpm, but will also miss a little on a full rpm run. Having had a good search this morning I'm guessing plugs or the coil pack but could the hesitancy and code 32 be related?

On top of this, with the EVC IV on 0.85, it'll make 0.5 bar, sit there and then spike to 1.3! With the EVC off, she'll make 0.6ish bar smoothly with no spiking. The EVC IV shows very low vacuum at idle ie. 225ish, when the Greddy electric gauge is showing 500ish. Any thoughts? I've checked through for obvious vacuum leaks and everything seems fine. Is the EVC sh@gged?

Sorry for the long post, but I'm hoping that everything may be related....

Thanks in advance...

Well I've lost about 25 miles out the tank,so it's certainly using more fuel. Will everything run fine without the O2 sensor connected then??
