Question Sandwich plate remove filter - bugeye - help

Hi,

I am purchasing gauges and have opted for the sandwich plate, so I need to remove then refit the filter, how easy is this and does it mean a full oil drain. Someone said I could just whip the filter off attach the plate, fill the filter with oil re-attach and top up the oil as required...

any advice much appreciated...

thank you

Rob

you won't need a full oil change as you can leave the sump plug in and remove the filter 2 litres would probably be over and above ( i can't remember, so wait for some one to confirm)
BUT why not wait and just change the oil and as some are saying they change the oil every 3k it won't do any harm

if you are going to wip of the filter make sure it is topped up to the brim with oil before you put it back on
