fuel pump problem

Default fuel pump problem

tried to start my p1 today but after turning the ignition i could`nt hear the fuel pump prime.i turnt off the ignition and the pump began to prime itself but would`nt stop.even with no key in the ignition the pump continues to prime itself untill the battery is disconnected.
can anyone out there help?

Sounds like the fuel pump relay has had it

sounds like the fuel pump relay to me too,it can be found right up the top corner of the dash above the fuse box,nice place for subaru to put it
