I'd be interested in the same thing! I've got a 97 uk wagon and have just fitted a boost gauge. It's currently totally standard and seems to peak at a max boost of around 0.9 bar although in third and fourth it settles at about 0.85, is this right? cheers Huw

0.9Bar sounds about right + dropping back.
With your manual boost controller 1.1 Bar should be a noticable difference. But remember Det/Knock through increased boost pressure/fuel.A knocklink/Lambda will help you monitor also you may see fuel cut if you go too high,my old 98 used to run 1.1Bar no probs but i had to use a fcd when it ran 1.2Bar which with a few other mods was fine but the td04 was pretty much max'ed out..
