Default will a vf35 work ok on my00 with full decat?

im looking to change my turbo to a vf35 on my my00,will this be ok with a full decat exhaust? ive heard some things about boost creep and getting the waste gate ported, does this stop the creep? ive got all the supporting mods to get around 300bhp with this turbo but i dont want to have to worry about the overboosting, ive got tek 3 so it will be remapped as soon as its fitted. any advise appreciated

thanks

I will be porting the wastegate before fitting

I ported the waste gate on my VF35 and avoided boost creep. If the search worked I could find pictures in my project thread...

Had this turbo on my Classic. It made 311bhp and I had no problems. Turbo wasn't modified.

If you have ported headers, doing the wastegate is trivial. See Floyd's thread ...

My vf35's been on for a couple of months ... just need to nip over to swindon in a fortnight now for the full benefit to be realised
