As above im in two minds at the moment, but whats involved in transplanting a version 3 Sti engine into a 1999 turbo 2000 awd? I may have a complete sti at my disposal....

Or would it be cheaper / more effective to just modify the uk engine? If so what mods would need to be done to reach the 300 bhp mark?

An ecu tek re-map, de cat and headers/up pipe should see you close to 300 on the 99 car anyway on the tdo4, fit a different turbo and you're away :-)
