Default Should i start worrying?

I took my intercooler off at the weekend and found some nasty black oil in the pipe coming from the turbo Do i need to start worrying/saving

Saving? No.
Worry? No, not really.

This is the result of the engine's ventillation system venting oil mist from the crankcase into the inlet manifild (etc) and eventually 'condensing' in the intercooler internals, hence the black oily film.
You need to do the vent/catchtank mod, and give the intercooler a very good clean (petrol is demon but BAD, so try gunk and a very good flush with hot soapy water and dry for ages.)

This will literally clean up your problem.
