no knock detected, no obvious issues with driving, just annoys me a bit.
any ideas please?

check the RPM trace on commander, might be crank sensor or something, but might just be between ecu and tacho, rather than input to ECU

Paul might be onto something with the crank sensor etc..
Does the CEL still blink with nothing recorded in the sw/sensor check?
Annoying that Datalogit showed nothing..
Did the MAP/Boost solenoid solve the constant CEL?
Simon

Ive not really been arsed to do anything thhis last week, 'cept drive it like I was meant to
Im hopefully in cahoots with Andrew for a resistor fix to the boost solenoid, I know from past experience its definately the boost solenoid throwing the CEL, tbh it hasnt really bothered me because the knoxk on the commander is in full view anyways.
Ill try a fix at the weekend

I agree it is not really an issue only it would be nice to sort and move onto the next problem.. also would be easier to see if this rev flutter does illuminate the CEL for sure.

I meant sort the boost solenoid / map sensor warning and then go onto the flutter.. lol
I think you have enough boost at 1.65bar.. next move is meth map and / or water injection plus mapped for it.. more timing being the requirement imho.
Or a bigger Turbo

I cant see me ditching the 18g for a while yet Simon, I did have a hankering for a garrett, and still will do it when my cdb gets "Zen'd".
for a 2.0 though I dont see the need, especially as Paul, yourself and one would assume Andy are getting very good numbers from them.
I didnt think you could map WI into the powerFC?
I also cant do a meth map until I get my copy of datalogit as I wouldnt want to be caught out on such an aggressive map.
So computer says "yes" to another boost hike then

You fit the water injection and control it separate to the Power FC but can increase the timing and adjust the fueling to take account of the water injection in the PFC.. iyswim..
The 1S water injection being boost activated you set it to come on at desired boost level etc..
As to more aggressive Meth map, if you knew where to alter on the commander and by how much you could alter for the fuel in the tank.. but anyway surely having not driven it for 3months or more your thurst for more power must be quenched for a bit longer yet?
