bumper strips along my scooby's mid drift.
May sound really dumb but I don't wanna cause any damage by going at it like a bull in a china shop which is my usual standard.
I need to know how to take off the black bumper strips along my scooby's mid drift doors.

would advise against it, they seem to protect the doors from knocks pretty well. have a look at an impreza of similar age without them and the doors usually look like Michael Flatley has been practising on them.

Leave them on
Use to have these on my old classic, never had one ding, had a mate who didnt have them on, cost him a packet in dent removals
Your choice though, 50 quid per dent or door protectors?

'If' you decide to remove them, i would suggest something like dental floss, obviously it woulod need to be stronger than that, but thats just an idea, you'd probably need a third hand to apply a little pressure to thestrip, whilst someone does the 'flossing'....... BUT, you may find once they'tre off, that the adhesive may have 'pulled' the paint under the strips, and it might look awful.....
Your choice...
