TD05 swap for vf series
Hi all! I was wondering if any of the vf series turbos would be better suited to my 2.5 conversion than the standard TD05?Looking for about 350-400bhp. Can't afford a 18 or 20G!
Seen a few vf39's going cheap.
Thanks,Tim

The vf39 is a good alternative when it comes to price vs. quality, but it is not a TD05!

No idea where you would get that done
Also consider that a ported TD05-16G (original compressor) is still good for 340-350bhp on a 2.5 and would give a nice torque band therefore will be quicker on the road than a TD05 engined 2.0 of a similar modification spec.
