Cleaning oil film in intake/IC..?
Seem to be getting oil vapours in intake (need a catch can I know), however, having cleaned pipework with brake cleaner, what do I do about IC..? (there dosen't seem to be much in there, just a film)
Any recommendations about best place to get one and connection (seems to be various thoughts about best method..!)
Cheers,
Jason

Wash out TMIC with petrol or gunk etc. Dry very well. Amazing what comes out.
Catch tank/breather mod stops it all.
See my thread in projects for the way I did mine 12 months ago.
My TMIC is clean and there is NO oil in the can after 9 months of hard running.
Graham.

Thanks Graham,
Have read so many posts (yours inc..) and there are so many opinions on what pipe goes where..!
Does removing PCV reduce the ventilation of crankcase and will it have any issues with a daily driver that has several short runs a week..?
Also whats to stop unfiltered air from entering engine..?
Question, question......
