Thumbs up POERTIN HEADERS

Floyd

thanks for the message I'll check it out.

It surely its a cheap task but with a reasonable power increase.

The power increase will not be that great in isolation but coupled to a total package, it makes more sense. There are advantages with spool too.

Not a real pain to do if you have a die grinder and carbide burrs!

A drill and stones will not be good enough, or will take you ages....

Harvey will do the porting if you don't feel up to it

Hello everyone

I emailed Harvey awhile back, with no reply. All the threads say Harvey's ported headers are the Dogs *ollocks.

If anyones in contact with him, please give let him know. I will keep trying.

Thanks for the replies.

Just started doing this on a spare set of headers I have. The Carbide Burr tip was a really good one thanks for that Floyd. My question is do you need to port both sides of every joint in the headers or just the receiving side of the joints with respect to gas flow?.

Thanks.

Some think that leaving a lip will stop reverse flow a bit. I just did the receiving side.
