Default rattles

Hello again 2 all. l have just got an 04 sti and it really seems to rattle from around the rear seats, its not the suspension thats been done, its from inside , any ideas or is it just a scooby thing, many thanks, andy

I would suggest, the following: -

Boot catch. Mine needs to be really tight to stop it rattling altogether
Door catches. If you carefully lift and drop the closed door, does it nock?
Rear seat top catches. Again, these are metal on metal, and can rattle
Rear shelf. This can buzz over time.
Jack. This needs to be carefully stowed.
Spare wheel cover. This does rattle by the two rear catches unless you pad it underneath
Rear bumper. This is attached to the car with some rubbish loose clips.

Oh dear, I was only going to mention a couple of these, but I had all of these rattles on My MY02STI.
To be honest,it is poorly held together compared to every other Japaneese car I have ever owned, but I guess it is just part of the character!
I have no rattles in my MY02STI, which is still on the original struts & top mounts!
