Default Loose Nut on Main Pulley URGENT ADVICE PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE PIC THANKS

Noticed a wobbly knocking noise when accelerating lightly this morning, had a little look around and the main pulley was loose, and wobbling on its shaft. Ive tightened the but as tight as i can with the tools available to hand and its not doing it now, can anyone gove me some advice though re why it came loose and what the long term fix is, or is it just keep an eye and tighten if loose.

If it comes off whilst driving i presume i lunch the engine?

thanks

It would have been off when you last had a cam belt done, maybe they didn't do it up to the right torque.. you need to get it torqued properly as soon as, they could use locktite on the thread for added security I guess.

is a fairly common thing, though usually has some "assistance" in occurring (fairly usual if a t/belt, etc. has recently been done!!).....................they need to be torqued up to around 100ft/lbs to stop it happening
