Default M.O.T and No Cat pipes

Right iv decated the car and got the Mot due soon on it for the first time, now is there anythink i can do to keep the decats on the car and get it to pass?
Good long run on the motorway before hand maybe??..lol

sorry m8 if you dont have any cats on the car it will most likeley fail, you will have to bolt the down pipe cat back on to guarantee a pass, I dont think you will get the centre one hot enough this time of year.

Not exactly the same thing, but i have a vx corsa with scoprion full system and no cat and the car goes through mot no probs, all i do is leave her running while in the cue for mot so the engine fan comes on, passes the hc and 02 tests just fine, id give it a go and see what happens only 18 quid for retest anyway..

friendly tester will stick the probe up another exhaust

thanks to the corsa driver

mot testing has changed recently, not sure if the £18 retest thing is true??
i know when i got my latest mot they told me that it was not registerd on any crash registers

stick the centre back on and get it as hot as possible,will sail through

even in winter

Well i put it on the machine at work at it didnt pass as i new anyway.
Think im gonna just bolt the cats back on and leave them on to be honest what a pain it is, i no its only once a year.

You could join the group buy on H&S exhausts and go for a sportts cat DP, the benefits of a Decat, but will pass MOT.

If we can get 10, the price comes down to £375 which is a bargin for this part. We already have 3 provisionally interested.

How does it have the benefits of my decat and still pass the Mot?, the garage wernt botherd about there being a cat there was just what its throwing outta the exhaust

^ because it is a cat so lowers emissions, but flows nearly as well as a de-cat pipe
