hi

please i was just going threw the forum and read about how to check the oil which markers to use so thought i have had the car a week and not checked the levels as it eas put into o garage for a service before i got it,

but have checked the oil level this morning when the car was cold and the level is reading higher then the max level when hot,

i have been driving the car around for a week would this of caused any problems to the engine that i should get it looked at it seems to have been running fine but i have only had it a week so i couldnt really say if it should run better.

the other thing is DONT ever trust a proffessional time to look for a new gagrage to use again why do they always screw you over

ok the level is at the notch when it is hot, is it ok to run the car like this or will it cause problems as i always thought that its not a bad thing to have a little too much or is this wrong

 

over filling can clog your waste gate solenoid ! u should aim to fill just under the full mark !!!!!! tells u in haynes scooby book !!!!

 

The full level is the little hole just above the F, and not the notch. As Reckless says, too much is not good.
