Default Standard Scoob airbox - is it easy to fit

I bought a Classic Scoob a few weeks ago and unfortunately it came with a stupid cone filter - anyway i have purchased a standard Scoob airbox and an STi panel filter - is the Airbox easy enough to fit without damaging the Maf sensor???

Cheers chaps!

Did you buy the snorkel as well which fits in the inner wing or are you just fitting the air box?

have you got the fixings for the air box, 2 bolts and collars at the front and a rubber bung which presses into the wing

It is a simple job, you need a screwdriver, metric socket set and metric spanners and a little time and patience.

I think it is just the airbox mate, yes it came with all the bolts.

Do you think this will affect my Maf at all???

No, just be careful and make sure that you keep it well away from dust etc.

You will need some sort of pipe in the inner wing to guide the air into the box

I did this a few days ago http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=475488
