Yeah this is going to be easy

Sometimes not always, it makes a noise.. er.. my friend said it sounds like a piston releasing or something ?

Like a low wine..(SP)

Cant figure out where its actually coming from though was doing it at idle yesterday but stopped after a while.

Cars is acting normal

there is a level but you may be surprised to find it near max, I know I did on mine. I had the same problem not so long ago, thought my gearbox was on the way out. Got advised to check the power steering as some seals can leak a bit. BAsically I just bought some fluid and just topped it up. Was surprised how much it took. Actually found a slight leak when I changed my downpipe just not got round to tracking it to its source and fixing it yet. Job for christmas I think when I get bored of the rellies.
Iirc the dipstick is actually on the lid itself, you will see what I mean when you remove it.

ok mate I'm confused, it looks fine, up to the level and the noise unless I've missed it hasn't happened for a day or so ?
