How to remove inlet pipe?
As above..
1997 sti v3.
Was just replacing my o2 sensor and noticed the inlet pipe was broken where the breather goes in (close to the turbo)
Thought I'd remove it and try and fix (or await replacement)..
**** me! what a pain in the ****!
I've got the intercooler off, power steering pump out the way, all pipes off (dumpvalve re-circ one is a right bastid)
And I still can't get it out!
It looks like it won't come out at all (the way the plastic pipe sticks out and fouls the inlet mani), what a poxy design.
Any tips appreciated.
Also anyone got a spare or know of a samco one, as I'm going to need a new one

You either have to cut off the rear barb that points upwards, or remove the intake manifold...
I'd cut the barb and replace with one of these... http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/wrx/intake/intake.htm ... I just installed one on my JDM STI (v10). Not sure if it will fit the older STIs...
Silicone turbo inlet pipes are prone to hose collapse, especially if you run high boost and/or run them with your stock intake...
