Another Idle Question
Hi,
Without wanting someone to shout 'Search' or 'SIAL' at me I have an idle issue with my RB5.
Everything was fine with the car until I replaced the O2 sensor a week ago. Immediately the car would hunt around and stall coming up to junctions. I performed an ECU reset and this partially cured the issue but the hunting still remains (and it's driving me up the wall).
I have run an ECU check which does not indicate any fault codes. Both the MAF and plugs were replaced about 3000 miles ago. My EGT is not showing any variation in high temps from when the MAF was first replaced so I am presuming the MAF is operating correctly.
So, given all this, anyone know what the issue might be (I have contemplated a faulty replacement O2 sensor but have thought this would cause a fault code to appear).
Cheers
Phil
