Default Classic Water Temp Question

Hi,

Just a quick question I have had a new radiator fitted today and + samco coolant hoses and a water temp meter (autometer stealth 2) I was wondering what the normal water temps should read once the engine has heated up, I was experiencing 80-85c

Cheers.

80 - 85 in these weather conditions seems absolutely fine imo. I am averaging 91 at the moment (just changed radiator and think i may have a bit of air still in the system(

Cheers for the info mate, least I know what is normal now. What radiator did you fit by the way? I got one of those ones off ebay with the aluminum core to provide better cooling, was 107.99 brand new + postage.

The O/E thermostat is 84 deg C if that helps you.
