Floor throttle, big hesitation - someone said coils?
For quite some time now when I plant the throttle at any speed/rev/gears, the car will give a big hesitation and then take off. Never boot it when cold but as far as I can tell it will do it everytime - foot to the floor, stops pulling and does nothing, then away to go.
Spoke to another owner who was told that his hesitation was down to needing new coils. Could this be whats wrong with mine?
It only does it when being aggressive with the throttle. If I increase the pressure on the pedal slowly or at least progressively it won't hesitate - its only when I put my foot down quickly. Its like its not ready to cope with the WOT.
MY00 TEK2, decat, DV etc. Any ideas?
