brand new 2.5 or rebuild my engine
after a mate stripping my 95 wrx i hav discovered that i am going to need a new crank, main bearings ,bigend bearings ,oil pump and everything else that goes with it ... so whats my options do i rubuild or buy a new 2.5..what would be the cheaper option ? can someone list a heap of web sites that can help me ... i dont really want to buy a second hand engine for it to do the same in 6 months .. thanks wiggy

Call David at www.apiengines.com and talk to him. He is a no Bullsh!t zone and dead honest.
They do about 10 Impreza engines a WEEK!

A 2,5 engine base is about £1300 at best, and the conversion costs will be that again as your turbo etc will be badly matched.
Insurance could be a real issue too.
Speak to David and his advice will help considerably.
You do not have to take the car there, he can sort a package to suit.
Tell him '911' sent you..(he won't swear at you, maybe me though!)
