Default Fuel Pump Primes... Then stops... Primes then stops...

Still can't start this soddin' car.

Ignition on, the fuel pump whirrs, then stops. Then whirrs then stops....

Car turns over and with a bit of gas eventually starts and runs on 3 cylinders.

Any ideas? Ready to put a match to it shortly....

No CEL codes either.... Fuel reg gone? Fuel pump?

Sounds like there is a fuel leak somewhere. Have you checked all the pipes.

If theres no leak then the fuel pump would be favourite, time for an upgrade

One from the fuel filter to the 'top' one.
Return to the middle one
Vent to the bottom one.

That correct isn't it?

Connector had cracked and was arcing across on the fuel pump.

All sorted by hardwiring it. Runs lovely
