Default TD04 Chip

Anyone know if there an aftermarket chip suitable for a car fitted with a TD04?(and where to get them). Seem to be plenty for the TD05, didnt want to change turbos just yet.

You could just get a bleed valve or dawes devise and just up your boost a touch. Don't go too much though. Best if you could get your afr checked really. The fuel maps are usually rich enough to stand a bit. It is dangerous if you get it running too leen, but its a very cheep option. I'll probably get crusified for sugesting it.

Interesting!

Would it be prudent to fit a lambda sensor then to ensure Im not overdoing the boost?

Not as yet, Ive got some work to do.

I understand 10.8 psi is standard boost on a TD04. Where should I be aiming?

Don't really know what a td 04 is capable of. I'd be trying for about 14psi . That should perk things up a bit without blowing anything apart. You havn't really got the best base to start modifying from. I guess you've got the little slanty intercooler too
