Front Mount - NOT on a classic
You tend to see an awfull lot of front mount intercoolers for the classic, but i really dont see anything mentioned with regards to front mounts on Bug eyes.
Is there a reason for this, are they that much harder to fit or something.
Hopefully someone could let me know

the new age TM intercoolers can cope with a bit more bhp than the classic ones. also because of the age/no warranty people are far more likely to be modding classics to a point that they need a FMIC. give it a couple more years and you will see a lot more on the newer cars!

someone was selling a blitz one on here for a bugeye yesterday....
but the normal weapon on choice seems to be the APS DR650 or 725 i think...can be pricey but its pretty much as big as they come without cutting...

So what is the difference then between classic and bug F/M/i/c, i have seen classic ones for around £200, but new age seem SO much more. Surely there cant be that much difference.

The main differences seem to be chassis related, and also just because there are so many cheap ebay copies around that are designed for classics so that brings prices down (or more likely those are the ones youve seen anyway)
pretty much though with a bit of fiddling you could probably get a classic one to fit the newage it just may not get all the design ebenfits that were indended due to different bumper shapes and sizes....
