Default better cold air kits than APS?

Are there any around? The APS kit does seem to be a benchmark for certain people and slated by some others, so are there any better out there?

needs to be for a newage car...

neil thats $ remember, the aps one is a solid metal pipe and takes some fitting IMHO the cold air from perrin is a nice silicone one and will be better suited/fitted in the engine bay. plus the perrin stuff has a really good name for itself now !!! i have an APS one on my car now but i wont be considering fitting one to my new car !
