Just about to mod exhaust and I was planning pre and post mod rolling road tests to see what I had gained.

However nearest 4 wheel rolling road has gone POP so I was searching the net.

Came accross a gizmo for measuring acceleration on the road. You input weight, tyre details, gear ratio etc and it gives you an approximate power and torque graph (they say accurate to 5bhp).

Anyone ever heard of these / used them. Are they a pointless box of lies or are they close to the truth ?

Apexi RSM and G-tech pro are both nice gadgets and come pretty close to actual BHP if propper setup. I use them to see what modification give's what BHP.

I've checked my Apexi RSM with the deltadash roaddyno and an G-tech Pro and in both cases the difference was only 1 - 2 %

Thanks David thats what I was looking for. They don't seem to be widely used as your the only one to reply, but for £85 I think one could be a interesting toy.

A toy it is, nothing more.
I found it interesting to see which modification brought which gaines in performance.

For instance i used some waterspray at the topmount and after several runs you could see it gave 8bhp more with it. And i used to run a td05-20g which made about 410bhp and now i'm driving the car with a grnuineTD06 and make 440bhp
