Garage / Mechanic London Area??
I've got a 1998 Wagon with the WRSport packs fitted (PPP equivalent for age). Have just been told by main Subaru dealer that both rocker cover gaskets need replacing, after seeing smoke come form the bonnet scoops - bit scary for a while there.
Long story short, I'm not chuffed paying main dealer rates - about £350 plus VAT for this job, so am looking for a recommendation for a good local(ish) mechanic / garage to use for this job, future servicing, etc
I'm in SW London but dont mind travelling to get a decent price and service. Any recommendations?

Just googled "ANG SERVICES", and they are advertising themselves a Saab specialists

But the old man used to work for Ace Kensington the Subaru dealership for 30 years. They had subaru courses/training etc. Then Ace went under and my old man moved to AnG 2-3 years ago. Now they look after loads of scoobs down there.
Quite a few lads from here go down there

thames valley motorsports saved me shed loads of money after i needed a new centre diff, their in newbury, just a few junctions out of the M4, super helpful , super cheap,

thanks for all the suggestions guys - had a quick chat with all 3 today and looks like I'll head for Rivett Autos - dropped your name Justin, seems like you're well known to them!!
Incidentally, the price did not include anything else - estimate of £100 parts and 3.5-4 hours labour @ £65 per hour, all plus "the VAT". From what I've heard today thats highway robbery, plus "the VAT".
