Default MAF or MAP which one for fueling

Which one controls the fueling on a classic, or do they both have a hand in it. Most cars I have played with in the past have one or the other.

If fitting a FCD does it clamp the signal to the MAF or MAP to stop the fuel cut?

cheers

MAF controls fueling by way of advising the ecu (lamda at low throttle). MAP is where you sort your fuel cut

Some tuning tools like apexis SAFCII and , I think, piggy back chips interupt the maf signal to con the ecu into compensating on the fuel map. Thus you can make adjustments, richer or leaner. Fuel cut defenders con the ecu into thinking that your not boosting as high as you are. I know you can do this on a GT4 by bleeding away some of the voltage using a resistor, but I'm not sure on a scoob.
