I have seen ppl on here with 280-290 on the 380's, but my car only manages 268 bhp, and i got told they were pretty much maxed out at that. I got that info from 2 different very well respected places.
At the most 290, but an easy 270 you should get.
After that you be like me and looking at turbos, 440 or 550 injectors, etc, and more remaps;

Granby, how much of a difference did the VF34 make on the road..? (assuming you ran a remapped TD04 before).

93-97 uk run 380cc, 99/00 UK run 440cc, 01-04 WRX run 380cc injectors.
300bhp is the safe limit on 380's.
Approximate way to rate injectors is Size x 0.8 = bhp limit.
High flow pumps running on higher fuel pressure regulators can increase this slightly.
Beware of quoting just a single rolling road bhp figure, best to average results over a few to get a realistic average.

MY03 WRX with PPP ECU, 145lt/h fuel pump (in place of the factory 130lt/h) and full decat (standard injectors are as Andy says, all new age WRX's have 380cc, I am not sure but believe the same applies to the 2.5lt WRX).
More or less 240HP measured with DD and 100-101% injector duties for a very short period of 200-300rpm.
I have had an AVO turbo inlet hose that sent my IDC at 107% after 5500rpm recently.
