1st Gear Problems
When I pull away in 1st gear I get a real JUDDER and feels like it is going to shake the car to pieces, anyone know what it is or what I can do?????

No Worrys, I get it on My01 Wrx alot, But i have learnt to live with it,...Took it subaru but they could not see anything wrong..

Yep i'm the same, MY01 WRX...
Apparently the clutch plate can build up "residue" which causes it primarily when cold, don't know how keen i am on this but a few folk have recommended a couple of hard launches (4-5k rpm clutch dumps) is enough to clean the plate....
Up to yourself though! (disclaimer, lol)

Bet your relieved its a "nothing to worry about" response and not you need a new clutch! I was kinda the same at first...
Plus it gives you an excuse to boot it off the line, lol.
