Ive been told my car is running in safe mode cos its only producing 0.5bar of boost when it should be about 1.25bar!

Any ideas why this has happened,ive had the car 5 month and its was like that when i bought it.

The only thing the fault light picks up on is the idle control valve (gunna fit new one this wkend).

How does one get the car out of safe mode and what caused it,would a ECU reset cure this???
