It really depends on how much over 300 you want, if you want only just over 300 then IMHO a 20g would be overkill most STi std IHI's (not twin scroll) or a hybrid td04 would be a better solution as they spool quicker.

Your std injectors (440cc) will max out at about 330 unless you increase the fuel pressure via a good adjustable FPR (sx) or keep the std reg and fit 550cc which would be the next step up, a fuel pump would be a good idea as there not expensive and easy to fit and the std pumps can struggle above 1.3bar.

Go for either a Apexi PFC or Tek 3

Your std intercooler may also be good enough for up to 330+

a 20g with that setup is a complete waste of cash, its not even good enuf to run a td05 at its best setup, i think your money would be better spent on other ways to improve accel rather than jumping in for a big turbo

16g? lol

whats a good td04 hybrid or vf series to go for, looking for 'ultimate fast road setup' loving the zero lag on the std td04

lol so a sx reg or fse is not needed if i up the injectors, there was me thinking it was a must to be honest looking for 330bhp-350bhp as thats a nice reliable figure to go for and on the road i want it to feel fast this will be more than adequate until i've finished modding the transmission

i pretty much gonna have to get tek3 and fuel pump though, excellent i mainly want to up the tranny all round

TD05 should see you past 300bhp
I would fit an SX with the fuel pump as the old std reg has been known to fail with the upgraded pump.
Save the injector upgrade for later if you need it.

ECU I'd go for either the ECUtek or the Apexi (how much further do you want to go? Re-maps may be cheaper with the Apexi).

what spark plugs are you running? Upgrade to NGK PFR7B's with the re-map

What air filter? Exhaust?

If you think you going to want allot more I'd go Apexi. If you think you'll be happy with 300-350 then ECUtek is a good option.

yes they are needed as you will have to alter the fuel pressure to get the car driving right, 440's will see you ok to about 340ish with raised fuel pressure
