I have a JR Racing which I'm more than happy with. Also recommend K&N and Green. There have been concerns over ITG filters causing MAF failure on certain classic models (mostly 98-00 with hotwire MAF) so I usually say to stay away from them, but there are many who are happy with them. To get that I/K noise, but quieter, you could remove the intake silencer in the wing. This usually makes the OE DV audible on gear changes too.

The Greens Cotton panel filters are excellent for a OE replacement in the standard air box. With some good gains to be had.

Kind of limited of you dont want to go full induction kit route.

the best one in my opinion is the STI panel filter as it isn't oiled so no chance it will destroy your MAF sensor.
