Default EGT CEL FIX

i've had the egt sensor fail twice in 6 months. Are there any heavy duty sensors i can get for it? or if i do the resistor fix can i leave the sensor in or is it better to remove and just put a bolt in the hole?

LB, take it out if its in the up-pipe, it can physically break up and then go through your turbo. Get yourself a Defi EGT gauge and put the probe from the gauge in there.

easiest way is to mount it in the downpipe or just take it out and put a bolt in.
Leave the sensor connected though..

Version 7 of the SECS software can read the EGT temps from the ECU.........I'm only on version 6 . I have been told that PSi can re-flash the new software onto your existing SECS if you send it back to them .

it did used to read the temp but now that the sensor has failed again it just reads 200 C. I don't want to change the sensor again if its just going to keep failing. so i'm gonna use the cel fix and remove the old sensor if its not a big job.
