Default Boost Controllers

Hi All..

Looking for some info on the above -

I'm running a 100% standard bug-eye WRX and was wondering whether i would benefit from a Manual Boost Controller. If yes what are my options...

Should i look at the manual "spring" device along with fitting a boost guage or should i go for an electric version that will automatically monitor boost??

Anyone got a rough idea of the costs involved in each as well......

Thanks,
Chris.

Cheers for the info...

Do you notice a big difference when sitting at 1 bar?

How much to fit it or did you do it yourself, if so was it difficult??

Cheers,
Chris.

Have got the same 2001 Bugeye, mapped to produce a safe 1.2 bar , BUT..fueling has been adjusted accordingly, so it doesnt run lean.

I have 02WRX, have just fitted dawes (manual boost controller), set to 1.1 bar and it makes huge difference, well worth it IMHO
