Default Water swooshing sound

Unforunately i have recently had to have an engine rebuild and i was told to run the engine in again, which i did, and take the car back for an oil and filter change.

The rebuild was done under the warranty but they are trying to charge me for the oil and filter etc. Is this reasonable as i was told to do it and i wouldnt have needed bar the fault in the engine?

Also i now hear a liquid swooshing sound like water moving in a plastic bottle coming from the glove box area. Does anyone know what this could be?

I shall be calling the dealer in the morning to book it back in but was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this.

many thanks

The sound is water in the heater matrix, they need to get the air out!! and no, i don't think you should pay for the oil change!!

Sounds to me like your water system has air in it and you can hear it rushing through the inside heater matrix.

Could be solved by simply topping up the water system. - check it in the morning
