Default Fitting harness & retaining stock seatbelt..

Would like to fit a 3 maybe 4 point harness for track days, is it possible to retain the stock seatbelt and have both fitted?

Having fitted a 3 point harness to an old golf two of the stock points were used and a new mount fitted in the chassis just behind the seat..

I.e. harness a pain day to day.. so I'd tuck the harness out of the way...

Any pics out there in scooby land and examples?

Only the cutting a hole bit worries me...

Cheers

Easy.
I had the same set-up on my car before the racing seat went in (much better than the stock seat)

The two straps over the shoulders locate to the raer seat belt fixings.
The strap to the right (door side) bolts to the ORIGINAL belt anchor bolt (!) and the left strap adjacent to the trans tunnel locates using the seat frame bolt.

All this passed MSA scruitineering for 2 years no probs.

Graham.

Thanks, but does this allow both to be fitted at the same time? I assume both cannot be fitted to the same bolt?

Just got my Group B MSA... BTW... downhill from here on in then...

Remember to get your B license signed after each meeting to get your A grade, makes all the difference to the events you can enter.

Some quick pics for you:

There, hope that works.
Note the small cable ties through the sprung clip fingers. If you do not fit these or use split-pins you could be stopped from racing! (I learnt the hard way )
