Question Essential, But Cheap Mod Recomendations

Hi only had my scoob since thursday and its off to TSL motorsport near me on weds for a good check over and a service, while I am there can anyone think of some essential but cheap mods I should be looking at? I have about £800 but ideally most of that will be going on upgrading the brakes seperatly as they are rubbish.

Current Specs:
1996 'N' Turbo 2000 UK
Full Magnex Exhaust Decatted (not sure if turbo back as didnt check)
Full Scooby Clinic Handling Pack
K&N Air Filter (really dirty ideally wants cleaing replacing)
17" Speedlines Like The Catalunya Ones
**no gauges speaking to tsl about this**

Think thats all

any recomendations really, whether it be interior mods, exterior, engine mods especially simple ones that dont cost the earth as I am really after any more performance yet, second hand parts from newer models that can be fitted for better performance etc etc

Cheers.

Forget the engine mods at first (as regards to mods).

Make sure the engine is running right and then get the geometry checked and sorted if required.

Regards,
Shaun.

If the suspension is a bit tired then it could be worth looking into replacement shocks and springs.

My route would be get the brakes and handling sorted, then get used to it before upping the power - you have some choice mods already!

Get TSL to do the four wheel laser alignment. It was the best mod my 93wrx ever had couldn't believe the difference it made! Loads less understeer and much better round corners.
