I have upgraded my intercooler in my WRX for an STi item

My question then, would an air splitter be recommended and if so where to find one as all the ones on ebay seem to be for classic shape.

This will suit your scoop design but is designed for the WRX intercooler not the STI intercooler.

Cool Action (STI 00-02)
This will be to big for your scoop but would suit the STI intercooler so you would need to change the scoop.

Cool Action (STI 03-05)
Same as above.
