Default Place place to source MAF for Newage STI

Got a price today from my local garage of £263.00+VAT for a MAF sensor for my Newage STI.

Is this a good or bad price ?

Any suggestions for where to source one and best price etc ?

THANKS.

Marklemac

It's a long story but Subaru only used to supply the Newage MAF along with half the induction tract !! hence the massive Price !!

MAF sensors for the newage can now be had as a stand alone item without rest of the induction system !!

Try Bob Rawle at BR Developments if the Dealers won't play ball

Thanks Jim.

Is there a way of testing if the maf is on its way out ?

I've read that with the classics you can disconnect it and do something ????

Its just that I've had a P0103 error twice now, and am wondering if the sensor just needs a gentle clean, or whether it is indeed on its last legs. Car has done 60k miles.

I run a RCMS induction kit on mine AND have had an ITG panel filter before that ... I'd buy a new one IMHO.

I think £80 odd quid for a new MAF sensor buys a lot of peace of mind ........LOL
