Default idle problem - 95 jdm wrx

hi there,

i have a 95 wrx which runs fine (pulls really strong and holds boost)

the problem i have is that if i rev it and let off or when i pull upto a junction.........the revs drop like it might stall (just for a second) and then idles fine.

it has a hks induction kit, blitz ss bov and blitz nur spec exhaust.......in case they might be a factor.

it passed its mot this morning and the emmissions were fine.........but its been stood for a few months (at least) as ive just imported it.........thought it might be the idle control valve sticking or maybe an air leak.

thought i would ask in case its a common prob.......thanks in advance.

bds.

Sounds like the idle air control valve needs cleaning to me. My 93 WRX used to go like that every 6 months or so. Its only a half hour job to take it off, clean it and replace.
