New online MOT's!
My friendly MOT centre has just gone on-line think everywhere is going to be the same soon if they've not done so already.
As i'm sure you'll already know this could be a bit of an issue for the large majority of Scooby owners as it will now be very hard for even the friendliest of inspectors to turn a blind eye to de-cat'd cars.
I may still have a get out though
I read on here a while back that early imports didn't have specific emission tests, pre 8/95 i think and that they can only do a basic emissions check for co level and hc ie there is no requirement for a cat because the basic test they do doesnt mention anything about testing the cat?
Is this correct? and if so should my friendly mot guy be able to find it in writing somewhere to keep him right, he's a good guy so if there is a loop hole i'm sure he'll be up for it.

My uncle owns a garage which has also gone "live" for MOT's,next step will be live videoing, this would be very bad for cars that fail the emmisions because of cat modifications.
